David and I mostly took it pretty easy this week - he is a much happier baby when he can get a good morning nap in. So except for a couple errands that I needed to run on Friday, we took it pretty easy in the mornings. The kids had a good week at school mostly - Evie made honor roll with all A's on her report card!! Monday was the usual laundry and grocery shopping day. Tuesday we didn't have anything going on in the evening (thank goodness since dinner ended up being late when I ended up having to shop for something that we usually have lots of but had run out of it with out realizing.)
Wednesday evening was cub scouts and Eileen had a school event for her State Project. So after cub scouts, We went to check out Eileen's project and then Dan took her to Young Women's and I put the rest of the kids to bed.
Thursday was a nice and normal day - Dan had a priesthood meeting in the evening, but otherwise, we had a nice fun day together!
Friday we went over to play games with some friends. We taught them how to play Dominion - and we got beat again.... But we had a great time and the kids had fun playing together too!
On Saturday, Dan and Anna got up early to go running with some friends from the ward. Dan made a Lemon Meringue pie - even though he doesn't really like Lemon Meringue pie, but he made it because I've been wanting one for awhile now. I have the best husband in the whole world!!! We had some friends over for dinner and after the adults had a fun time playing Scattergories. It's funny, we both have dogs named after video games - ours is Koopa from Mario and theirs is Ganon from Zelda!
Sunday was great - Fast and Testimony meeting was great - David refused to nap so he was a bit tired and cranky by the end of the day - but hopefully now he will sleep well..... We had a nice time chatting with Dan's parents before scriptures and prayers and heading to bed.
A couple cute pictures from the week - my two boys cuddling up - it's so cute watching James play with David - also kinda nerve wracking since he isn't always good at remembering to be careful, but still sweet.
And Evie showing off her painted nails - she spent all weekend painting and re-painting her nails....
